Brief introduction to the first hospital of Hebei medical university

    The first hospital of Hebei medical university is a modern general provincial hospital, which combines medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, preventive health care and emergency treatment. Over fifty special centers and departments are established in it, including Hebei Provincial Neurological Interventional Therapy Center, Hebei Provincial Endoscope Clinical Center, Hebei Provincial Peripheral Angiopathy Clinical and Reaserch Center, Hebei Provincial Liver Disease Center by Combination of TCM with Western Medicine, Hebei Provincial Mental Disorder Judicial Expertizing center, Mental Health Research Institute of Hebei Medical University, Hebei Provincial health promotion base of national center for medical education development, Congenital Cardiopathy Center of Hebei Midical University, Heart Center of The First Hospital of Hebei Midical University and so on. Currently, the hospital has a capacity of 900 beds and over 120 senior medical specialist. In recent years, more than 100 large advanced medical instruments has been introduced from America and Germany, such as large C-arm angiography mechine, MRI, dual-slice spiral CT, automatic biochemistry analyzer, color Doppler ultrasonic apparatus, surgical navigation system, cell knife, endovascular ultrasound ablation system and so on. Its diagnosis and treatment techniques in a wide range of meidcal domain has reached the provincial or internal advanced level, involving angiocardiopathy, cerebrovascular disease, peripheral angiopathy, neurological interventional therapy, endoscopic surgery, cardiac and chest surgery, gynecological disease, liver disease treatment by combination of TCM with western medicine, mental disorder and otherwise.
