      Thoracic Surgery department at the First Hospital of Hebei Medical University is well equipped with advanced medical apparatus like electric bronchoscope, electric esophagoscope, electrocardiogram monitor, thoracoscope and all function breathing machine. Leading by Prof. Zhang Zhuxin, we provide diagnostic and treatment services to patients with benign and malignant neoplasms and other disorders of the lung, esophagus, mediastinum and chest wall. Some advanced new techniques were performed in the department and got proving effects, such as: Video-assisted thorocosopic surgery treat spontaneous pneumothorax and benigh neoplasm of lung; New combined therapy treats esophagus and lung cancer; Electrochem therapy or implanting radioactive particles treat advanced stage cancer.
